So I have an uncle who has to do document typing on his laptop. I installed Windows 8.1 on his 2007 laptop with 2 gigs of ram and a Core 2 duo. But now, he is facing some issues with it and wants another os should I try Windows 7 from some website or Tiny 10 or any other modded os. For linux, I think he won’t be able to do it and will be confused even in most user friendly distros like linux mint (If you have any simple and low requirements linux distro in mind pls do suggest it too).
