I don’t understand the national media. The Browns apparently never win. The other teams just lose.
The Bengals in week 1? Burrow was hurt, it rained.
The (at the time) #1 team in the NFL, 49ers? No deebo, cmc got hurt.
The colts? Refs stole the game.
The Ravens, unanimous top 5 team in the NFL? They took their foot off the gas, gave it away.
No. I Hate it.
Every game the Browns have won, they earned, they out played their opponent. It’s so frustrating not getting to hear about this team at a national level. We are very very good. We can, and have proven, that we can beat any team in the NFL.
Also just to cap of this rant, fuck the Squeelers. I hope we shut them out.
Don’t look at the Power Rankings. They will never, ever give the offense credit. It’ll only ever say “until DW proves” yada yada.
We’re the browns. And we’ve earned the reputation we have.
The only way to stop this is to make a deep run into the playoffs.
I don’t care what the narrative is. If they wanna keep downplaying us on our way to the SB that’s fine with me.
The media is just selling out to what the people want to hear. The Browns have been the laughing stock of the NFL for 25 years. People just expect them to suck, the the media will continue to paint them that way until the preception changes.
