I can’t think of any massive deals we have ever given out in free agency off the top of my head. What is the biggest FA signing (outside our own players) we’ve ever had? Malcolm Butler? I know we have a ton of cap space, but I remain skeptical that we will land any of the top players available at premium positions. We are going to have to overpay someone like Tee Higgins to convince him to come here (if he is even available) - do we really think the Titans ownership will be willing to do that? It would be a shift from what we have ever done before.

I see us more realistically chasing value and signing some solid additions rather than overpaying for the best of who is available. Knowing the Titans, we probably wind up giving $20 million a year to Devin White as our big addition.

    Delaine Walker when we signed him it was a pretty big contract for a TE that wasn’t used by the 9ers very much. And in terms of production he was worth it.

    We paid top of the market for the Byard extension. And he was worth it.
