The point of this post is to illustrate that not only is Bam Adebayo being overlooked in DPOY yet again — but also that he is completely cooking these elite defenders when playing them head to head.
At least in the last 15 years, every DPOY winner was from a team in the top 5 of defensive rating. It’s still early, but the Heat are currently 10th. Also, when have people ever really looked at their performances against other DPOY as comparisons?
