Hello everyone. First off… sorry for the 1000 post or more this group has seen this week. So long story short. Im living in switzerland and have currently the LCD SD. I also have 2 big powerbanks (Baseus 65w and the Anker 737 140w) Both can charge the steam deck nearly at 2 full loads so with both powerbanks like 4 charges maximum. Ive also have at home a high en gaming pc (rtx 4090 i9 13900k etc…) However i still have a old 4k 60hz LCD monitor and i dont know if it would make any sence upgrading my Steam Deck when my main pc still has the lcd screen. So right now with black friday around the corner im leaning towards buying a new 4k monitor but a OLED one. So with this things taken aside im still left then with my LCD steam deck which i will obviously see a difference when switching from my pc to my SD. Right now, both displays look pretty much identical from the color saturation. My question now is, is the OLED SD even worth it becouse shure it has a OLED dispaly but also better battery life. Im asking the point about battery life, since ive mentioned having 2 big powerbanks and i dont know if the better battery is worth a upgrade from the old lcd. Ive seen games like cyberpunk 2077 having with the lcd display a active time of 1h 50min whereas the OLED display got 2h 40/50min. Is this battery improvement like this big in other games? Also hows it with the software updates? Ive read some posts saying the OLED has 3.5 allready as stable version so it looks like the OLED and LCD is being updated seperatly. Also will the games work like it did with the LCD one since the updates are kinda like seperated from each other? Other than that, whats your final opinion on the OLED Steam Deck? Worth a upgrade? Or waiting for a couple years for the Steam Deck 2 ?
