Not starting the LEC 2024 Winter Split I am very surprised how this offseason went, we got permission to talk to teams when most teams were already decided. Hence I got told I am a high priority and FNC was happy to continue with me. After going there for Summer, making it to finals and qualifying for worlds, it did make sense to me. This is all very new and surprising news but since the long seasons and non-stop competing in the last years, having a few weeks for myself will do me good, as I have time to get into routines I used to have and failed to do throughout the year. This year gave me a lot of lessons and I will use the time now to grow from them to be back on top of my game. I will take this time to regenerate and prepare for my next team. Pretty sad, I really hope we see him back on an LEC team next split.

    This off season went really bad for LEC. People who make team building decisions need to be fired. There’s Nemesis video on youtube where he talks about how EU teams decide their teams. They just go for whatever option is available asap because they are scared of not finding players. This ends up with teams making a bunch of mid rosters instead of going for cohesive teams with good players.

    So what I’m understanding from this is that Fnatic told him they wanted to keep him for 2024, so Trymbi didn’t get the permission to explore his options.

    Until Fnatic decided they were going for the 10th place LCK support (probably to please Noah), so Trymbi arrived on the market way too late and most teams were already committed.

    I cannot speak. If I speak I’m in big trouble. Biiig trouble.

    I recommend to change certain rules for Riot moving forward RiotMAXtheX. The LEC is in Germany, and still employer can prevent employees to talk with possible new employers to find a job at the end of a work relationship. We need permission to talk to others, there should be a safety net for talent.

      agent deleted the tweet, according to Eros he is lying and was looking for offers even while FNC was still competing and that’s why trymbi is in Sheep Esports report about supports looking for LEC spots

    To me is so weird that players require permission to talk to other teams, it’s not like just talking they can break a contract, why does that rule exist

    I feel like the agent has it backwards, there probably should be some rules about preventing negotiations until after worlds. As it is right now, it hurts top teams and players that play at worlds. NRG owner talked about it recently as well

    2nd best support, in some seasons the best support teamless. The european GMs are clowns. So many top players outside of the league again.

    Don’t worry NRG needs a support, come take a chill vacation for a split or two in NA. Rest does wonders after a bad Alistar pick.
