Hi, my car does not get up to the proper temperature so i googled the symptoms and the thermostat is faulty. I opened the hood and the thermostat is easily accessible so i thought i can do it. The thing is, when doing the research, when googling the part number, it opened a parts diagram and it said that in later models, my thermostat was replaced with another, with a different part number. It is the same engine, maybe with a different power output, do i buy the updated one or not? Also, as we all know parts with “oem” characteristics are basically the same as the regular ones , so do i buy the oem one or the “after market” one produced by the same manufacturer? Are even after market thermostats good? What can you recomend Car is 2009 c207 e350 cdi mercedes benz
