This graph is pretty hopeful in my opinion…really a big reason why I think we have true championship potential. Good benches are hard to come by and we have one of the best in the league statistically and with the eye test.

We really just need more production from franz and paolo. Franz: 18.6 ppg, 5.8 reb, 3 ast on 40 percent shooting Paolo: 18.9 ppg, 7 reb, 5.3 ast on 47 percent.

I understand both are young so it’s not concerning that they aren’t consistent 20 ppg efficient scorers yet.

But it shows that we have a really solid foundation as a unit we just need our stars to blossom and that’s when shit will get scary. That’s the last piece, a true star

What this points out is that our starters are the problem. While I agree with some of the other posters that Franz and Paolo have been somewhat of the problem, I don’t think it’s a slump.

We start 2 guards who can’t shoot and the defense can key on Franz and Paolo whenever they want. The can slag off the perimeter and pack the paint which is why our FG% is horrible.

Last year, Paolo was a rookie and no one understood Franz yet. This year, everyone knows Franz can be that guy (from the WC) and it’s easy to push Paolo off an aggressive style with no perimeter defensive requirement.

This just proves we need shooting and spacing in our starting lineup.
