Does such a thing even exist? Even the ones we know to be elite in real life cant produce weekly these days (you know who). Are these backup QB’s THAT bad this year? Or has the level of “eliteness” gone down over the years? Was Nuk with Osweiler, Yates, Schuab, Weeden, MAllet, etc. just an exception?

Everyone is listing former players. OP is asking fur current.

I would say Pittman has been pretty consistent with pretty garbage QBs over past couple of years. But not a star.

Only Tyreek fits the bill I think right now. Dolphins had a rotating cast of characters last year with all the Tua injuries

To be matchup proof with a bad QB, you at least 2 of these 3 things

    1. Another solid WR2 that takes some attention off of you

    2. Can be used in the screen game, effective OC

    3. QB targets the hell out of you

There’s only maybe 2 guys that check that box and Tyreek is one. Garrett Wilson is pretty much there

Scrolled a good long ways on this thread and didn’t see Antonio Browns name mentioned. He legitimately had the best 5 year run of any WR in NFL history, and probably would have kept it going in 2019 after joining the Pats. Even his 2020 and 2021 seasons were incredibly impressive, all things considered. If you look at his game logs from last 2013-2018 he had about one bad game per year (that wasn’t affected by injury). Seeing you were going against him on a week was legitimately terrifying. Vontaze Burfict was the only man alive who was able to stop that dude.

It’s too bad he’s a garbage human being and the poster child for CTE because he was an absolutely incredible player that 100% deserves to be mentioned with the Rices, Moss’s and Megatrons of this world, but there’s a very good chance he never sees Canton due to his behavior and off the field issues.
