Hi just confused on how this works, haven’t been playing OW2 as much because I’m exclusively F2P but my mates just got a PlayStation and its a great “free” game. Anyway logged on and was checking out skins and now I can buy legendary skins with the white currency? Is it just in the hero gallery? Can I save up and buy items from the shop???
OK its a shame so much of OW2 is hidden behind a paywall. There’s no point in playing without friends because I don’t unlock anything unless I pay
Everything that is actual gameplay content except for the story missions which suck ass and I wish I didn’t buy it is up for free.
For cosmetics, there’s actually free skins, highlight intro, victory pose given away every once in a while.

As you can see here, there’s actually massive amount of cosmetics they giveaway for free. It’s more than a lot of non-gacha game I’ve play anyways. And you can get 250 credits a week and that’s pretty much 6 weeks for a skin + 1500 credits every 2 months from battle pass for 1 more skin.
