I’ve seen lots of posts about games not running well, including Jedi Survivor. I’m not very far in (about 3.2 hours), but I feel like the game is pretty playable. A few of the cutscenes stutter a little, and there are a few texture pop in issues, but overall I’m enjoying my experience.

Unless the game gets way more graphically intensive, it seems to be okay.

I had been putting off playing this because of all the negative posts, but maybe now is the right time to play. And for some it won’t be. YMMV, enjoy for those on the fence!

It’s just gotten better now. You can get a pretty decent looking 30fps experience on deck for basically the whole game

Blame the devs. It became popular to blame the Deck for not running Starfield and BG3 until it came out that they ran bad everywhere and were rushed out with bad programming.

The paradigm of “just buy new card” explains why games run so badly now: because consumers blame themselves and not the devs. Like holy shit, when Alan Wake 2 can run well on the Deck you can stop using “muh next gen” as an excuse for your game to perform awfully.
