I think a trade with Pat, Ajax, and 24 2nd round pick I would do easily for Caruso, and I think it’s pretty fair for both sides, I like Ajax, but he’s a player that needs time to develop still, and for a championship squad, we don’t have time for that, Marjon is a sophmore, so I definitely don’t want to trade him, and both Caruso and Ajax do the same thing, except caruso just does it better for now, and Pat can go cuz hes been ass this season apart from maybe a game or two.
If there was a genuine push for Caruso you’d need to find a third team to route draft compensation to the Bulls, and if you’re doing that I think it means realistically that Bobby is gone as well
From a pure salary standpoint something like Caruso & Royce O’Neale to the Bucks, the Nets get Bobby, Bulls get Pat & route any draft compensation the Nets would give for Bobby
I don’t even think that’s a realistic deal because the Nets are still in a weird place between rebuilding and retooling, and realistically the Bulls can probably get better offers elsewhere for Caruso
Can we at least wait til Khris is playing full minutes and Dame is fully himself to talk about trade ideas involing what might be good pieces for a playoff run? I think once those two get it figured out we might think a little different on trading away guys. I do agree defense is a glaring problem but trading away players from a team that is still learning to play together sounds like a bad idea.
This Caruso boner is getting annoying and lasting over 4 hours. Ya’ll need to see a doc
Caruso is trash. Seriously stop this talk now. There are 50 other players in the league I would take over him. I don’t want that guy on this team. Also, Pat is one of the most consistent players in both sides of the ball.
I mean, saying Caruso isn’t a top 50 player is not exactly going out on a limb. Caruso is 65th in PER, fwiw.
