Currently own a 440whp MK7 GTI but I had to install intake, downpipe, bigger cooler, hybrid is38 turbo and lpfp to make this power, I’ve learned today APR states the new MK8 GTI with just a downpipe and APR tune makes 358hp on 93 fuel from it’s original 241hp that’s a 117hp gain, what other modern cars make massive gains with tuning and bolt on mods (intake/exhaust/similar mods)?
I had a motorcycle with a tested 10.98 @129mph quarter mile. I was too chicken shit to properly launch that bike, but a rolling 10-130mph was still absolutely mind-bending for someone used to 14-15 second quarter mile bikes and laughably slow cars/trucks.
