Hey Pels fans I’m a hawks who have a lot of family who live in the NOLA area so I casually watch & keep up with the pelicans … a nice page I follow on Twitter (ProPelsTalk) post great breakdowns after games and things like that … during this losing steak it’s been a lot more bad than good unfortunately. Usually when they post Ingram they criticize his inability to play off ball , when they post Zion it’s his struggles on defense/ laziness (both seem like fair critiques from what I seen) & in the comments both fanbase seems to go at each other lol . I’m not trying to get you guys to pick a side or anything like that but what’s the general consensus regarding this duo/team ? Do you think they can make it work when guys are back healthy or do you think they don’t really compliment each other and ran it’s course ? Any diehard opinions would be great

The BI and Zion combo has worked plenty. They were first in the West together last year. Even with a bad start, they are averaging 43-11-9 combined. It doesn’t work when:
A. The team is missing its two best shooters and two best defensive players.
B. The whole game plan is to put them in isos back and forth.
The narratives about them not working together comes from people who don’t take A and B into account. And those people are not arguing in good faith. They are clowns.
