This photo is a from a few weeks ago, since this, there is a whole where one of the connectors are. I have soaked this in PB blaster and other varies things, I have banged on the ring for countless hours, I have used my impact driver, 2 entire batteries and I have used a breaker bar. I have tried to pull up the tabs as much as I can without destroying them, I have used a wire brush on all the contact points… Nothing. There has been absolutely no progress. I can tape everything generously off and use an angle grinder, but I had a thought last night about using bolt cutters to destroy the ring and not cause spark… Is there any other methods?

I’d use an oscillating multi tool with a metal blade that doesn’t cause sparks
