I love writing book reviews. It gives me a chance to delve into the book’s theme, analyze the author’s writing style, describe the book’s unique qualities, reflect on how the book made me feel, and find fabulous quotes from it. A book that I adore and am sad when it ends, what’s the term? - finding closure!!!

I review all books I read on goodreads. I just love having a record of how a book made me feel and my thoughts directly after. Tbh though I enjoy writing reviews in general from letterboxd film reviews to metacritic music reviews, it’s a full time hobby 4 me

I write reviews on goodreads of almost every book I read. Nobody reads them, but it makes me think about what I felt reading the book, and I like going back and rereading!

OP, I think you are in the minority here. Most folks simply read a book and move on. Few take the time and effort to write A review - long or short.

Writers yearn for feedback, especially in a digital era where reviews on forums like Goodreads and Amazon can make or break sales and ratings.

    Keep reviewing to motivate writers!

I like reviewing a book. One of the first things I have to do now as soon as I finish a book is start writing a review on my notes that I’ll copy over to goodreads later on in the day when I’ve picked my next book
