Assigning any particular value to one defensive player is incredibly hard. A sack or interception are weighted so heavily because of the impact but assigning them to one guy is not ideal. Coverage sacks == pass rush wins for instance. There’s too many variables and most of them are unknown on any given play.
pretty much, based on my extremely limited knowledge of EPA, it’s only a useful metric to compare QBs because of how much they impact the game
