Click Under Acceleration

Trying to determine what a click is under acceleration with my 99 F150 4.2 V6. Consistent click heard from engine bay area when in Drive under acceleration/load. No click when accelerating in neutral or when idling in N or D. Running a motorcraft oil filter and just replaced plugs with new motorcrafts and wires. Oil pressure and volume OK. No codes.

I would think if it were lifters or an exhaust leak I would hear the noise when idling either in N or D, or I’d hear at when giving it gas in N. I’m stumped. Any insight as to what would cause a tick/click specifically under acceleration greatly appreciated.
