Just got my OLED , same here smh … working perfect on my lcd but no go on my OLED. did all my investigation and research , nothing can do besides wait for creator to update to newest os compatibility my bro

ight ight so firstly i dont update my steam deck but literally same thing happened to me wit yuzu bro , so open yuzu in desktop mode wherever you installed “emulation” launch it … then go to ur game left click “open save data location” okay … now back 1 on the top address where it saids the destination … find the folder wit the same numbers as ur game. Yuzu backs up a save data of the save data … then u copy/paste that back into the main folder the one that had nothing in it. Worked for smwonder / SOS.

ive had both … no track pad so it’s pretty wonky using analog as a cursor and the sd card ended up corrupting a 1TB sd card. Not saying steam deck is perfect but it sure ain’t eva bricked my damn sd or have a failed unusable sd drive.

Yes but let them know THEY need a steam account to use it. I’ve sold 2 in the past and i cannot stress that enough. A lot of new users buy steam decks n just don’t know what they are getting into.

Reimage that thang bro your gonna need a hub port or usb to steam cable so you can connect it. For instance i reimaged mine via hub cable with a mini sd card. Also , did you try to boot into the bios and safe start it ? See if you can get past the loop. I’d say try to not update as much or soon as it drops. Personally found sometimes updating steam deck can bring on its issues if it’s a NEW update like for instance games or emulation will stop working etc … just a heads up to keep in mind before updating in the future just make sure you double do research on it make sure the update is running smoothly before doing so 💯🙌🏽

I’ll save you time on deciding OLED or lcd … if you can afford n get the OLED … GET IT ! ur bf will be happier with OLED n he won’t have the FOMO madness later on down the road with the lcd version 💯
