This is exactly how you should be playing against your counters. Deny them their plays. As long as you know how the character is played then you can do that. But you’re right, people just want to run into their counters and 1v1 them. And then you end up in a 1v5 because they aren’t stupid enough to 1v1 you unless it’s the right moment.
One idea that I’ve had that I really don’t want to do because it seems like a pretty big waste is to buy a 4k 120hz capture card. And then get another computer that would take in the video from that capture card and downscale it to 1080p 60hz. But that’s really inefficient. And I think there has gotta be something out there that already does something like that. Though I could look into it
The thing is that QP games still count towards your rank. Not as much as comp, but still. And I’ve had far worse happen in Comp. I’ve had comp games where the entire team is just running in 1v5 the entire game. In order for me to actually play decent comp games I made an entirely new account that I can play sweaty on constantly. And even in my plat games I still have that stuff happen sometimes…
In overwatch 1 Everytime I got a team of goats I would literally go AFK and still win. I see nothing wrong here.
