It’s wild… when I was young we had a lot of winters with ice skating and some winters with really thick ice. Now hardly any. On the other hand we now regularly have entire neighborhoods flooded with 10cm of water from local downpours. And summer heat waves lasting multiple days above 30C. Arid summers with week long water use restrictions. And this is all in a temperate country like the Netherlands.
Humor is a natural defense mechanism for people. A relationship takes 2 to tango.
That sucks… I’d call her a cheating whore… but for the same you might still be together… life is funny in a crying kind of way.
It’s not always playing games… some people also just come out and say it… others will mask it with a joke… but then the conversation needs to be had. Not always full serious… we need to talk… but this is a good cue. As the other poster said … for both your sakes.

Like that… I mean in general when the topic of marriage is brought up in a circumstance that is not an obvious joke. And even when used as a joke it is something that should be taken as a queue to probe the subject… Verify that it’s not a joke hiding more. Some people are dumbasses but also some people think it’s hard to bring up the subject.
When they ask you like that… it’s the cue o have a conversation on the F-ing subject. What are your hopes and dreams, kids, quick wedding or elaborate… you know… discuss what the future would hold together.
Once you have had those conversations you also know what the answer to a proposal will be.
Yeah, it’s just that devs of games guide everyone there and try and shoehorn it in. I don’t know how or why devs do this… just run your own forum with a chat module.

Reddit allows site wide search, and recently contracted with Google to make their content accessible. Also old reddit content is searchable and thread based conversations can be followed.
Discord is just a vast collection of independent black holes that gobble up information and data while its users collectively yell into the void of chat channels.
Yeah… shooting some nonsense back and forth. But game devs that shoehorn stuff into discord making everything objectively worse while making everything unfindable… it drives me nuts!
I’d argue discord is even worse.

Such incredible bullshit. Tracking is to learn and see where things go right and wrong.
The fact manglement then puts the onus on the employee to cook te books for them is bizarre. Once tasks go over budget you can have a talk about it in a retrospective or something. But half hours… makes no sense.
Than she can rest knowing that maybe long after she is dead, billionaires will trade in her paintings and hoard them in tax free zones at airports as ways to hide their money from the IRS.
