A 2017 30i has a B48 which is actually a very reliable engine, it is basically a B58 with two cilinders chopped off. I owned one of the first G31 520i’s with that engine and drove it 100k miles from 2017 until last year without a single issue. This is anecdotal but thought I’d share!
No the suspension and overall comfort is good! But because it is a PHEV and carries some extra weight, the suspension setup is a bit stiffer than a an ICE 3 series or ICE 5 series which has rear air suspension for that matter, it does mean it feels very planted on the road and makes the drive sportier!
