Argh Spore is so good! Definitely has some pacing issues going from stage to stage and it definitely shows its age now so yeah, I’m with you there!

If executed well (which is what I’m assuming everyone is thinking in this hypothetical), what’s bad about polishing and expanding upon an old game that may no longer be easily playable and/or now has the potential to fully realise its concept?

My conspiracy theory is skins like this will stay unavailable so the marketplace will have rare items a couple of years down the line and generate publicity for record sales numbers (like golden frying pan in TF2, dragonlore in csgo, etc)
