Oh I agree with you wholeheartedly friend!
They don’t care because people keep buying their shit anyways, which is why many of us tell you to stop buying it and then we’ve gone full circle again.
I’m not recommending complaining to them because I think they will care. I do it because I it could have a greater impact than complaining here which has exactly zero impact.
It’s not that you can’t complain, but moreso that people are tired of reading about people getting ripped of over and over again.
It’s getting old when the solution is so glaringly obvious.
Alternatively focus your grievances towards the company. That has a better chance of making an impact in reducing the tainted waters.
So in short: you have a right to complain, but we have a right to tell you that you are a part of the problem if you pre-order or support companies continually doing this crap.
This is the part where you apologize for being rude and wrong and we all move on with our lives having learned something new.
No shame in that.
Happy weekend friend!
If only there had been a game that you had played thousands of hours on and had high hopes for the sequel.
He’s not arguing against hoping for a better sequel. He’s telling people to stop pre-ordering games without knowing how good the game is going to be.
Also, you waited a decade to play a game you wanted to play? That’s a you problem.
Read his reply again. He waited 10 years for it to release and get reviewed before making an informed purchasing decision. He made a smart move.
Yeah I saved it for the future.
Really enjoyed both It Takes Two and Portal 2 with the missus.
I don’t understand why they couldn’t keep pushing the 3060 until they were truly ready for a 4060 that’s better. You don’t have to release new products on every single segment every single time. Especially if they confuse the buyers of that segment.
I think that’s why: confusing those less “hardcore” into thinking 4060 is a massive leap from 3060. It’s pure corporate greed and annoying as hell.
Why did you make up a reason to be offended?
Nobody said no other country experience it, so calm down.
You seem otherwise cool so I’m just gonna wish you the best of luck with your pregnancy and happy weekend!
He confronts Wayne in the bathroom at a party/fund raiser, IIRC.
His mother used to work for the Waynes and hints towards this throughout
Cheers!
I’ll dual boot Mint then.
Where would you recommend a complete Linux noob start after having used Windows his entire life?
I’m in your boat: I want an OS that works (more or less) and will let me browse, listen to music and occasionally fire up a game or two without forcing new money grabbing crap down my throat.
I enjoy troubleshooting strange issues now and then, but if it’s a daily occurrence I’m not interested.
Thank you in advance!
Test patching directly into router, not via internal cabling.
Test different cable.
Test with different laptop.
Just for fun: test WiFi, preferably 5 GHz. If that nets you more than 100 mbit then your router/ISP is the issue.
Also, what do you get when testing on e.g. Speedtest.net?
Jellyfin and the .arr suite.
It’s absolutely incredible and I am so greatful to anyone with the skillset and dedication to develop and maintain things like these.
Currently playing with Proxmox and HomeAssistant too.
Hat of to all of you legends involved in FOSS
