To get an advantage on a roll you have to take a few really hard steps and sometimes you are a little blind to the passes. Zu is a little slow footed and I think the pick and roll game with him puts him in spots that don’t suit his ability. He has bad hands and he is slow.
The thing is you can’t just judge his value on ppp. The way he plays effects the rest of the offense. Basketball is a rhythm game. How is the offense when he’s not in PnR or isolation? Do our guys shoot at a lower clipp because he’s massaging the ball?
