The 600, 990’s and 900’s are the only ones i bought new and they had similar clamp force, but the 990 and 900 was tolerable due to their padding
I dont have the 560, but i do have the pc363d, have had the hd660s and hd599 and tried the hd600. Theyre basically all the same and new they also have loads of clampforce, comparable to the dt 900 pro x i had. But thats easily solveable by slowly stretching them over a bunch of books
Not acceptable for headphones with a price tag of 1500…
Ive borrowed/owned around 50 headphones and every time i will go beyer for comfort.
Imo, all sennheisers besides the hd700/hd800 dont come close in comfort to Beyers offerings
I had the same thought, till i tried my buddies he1000v2 stealth. Yea, i need more money XD
660s2 wont be better with what your asking
Unfortunately not in the EU
Sold and bought around 20 headphones/iems. Still have a dca aeon flow that im selling and im keeping my t1 gen 2, crin:zero reds and s12. Probably will buy a arya soon™
Open. Closed feels like a compromise for the isolation, but they can be fun
Not for Europe i imagine
Buy a decent dac/amp with the stuff you need and be done. More is snakeoil.
Cables == Snakeoil
Price != performance/quality
Some people describe stuff as if there is a huge difference, when there is not (hd600 line)
Yup…
Just get something else. Anything (except focal)
Am still looking for a well build bassy/rumbly planar though, since ive now sold my DCA Aeon Flow (which sounds meh). I have tried a bunch from hifiman, but the built and comfort are meh on the lower end models. And i dont want to spend arya money on something from them. Might give Audeze a go, if/when i can find me a second hand one for “cheap”.
It’s good for the soundstage and gaming but ima be honest. It doesn’t feel premium and it doesn’t fit well on smaller heads. I’d take a t1, 1990, arya or he1000 over it
Sjy starry nights are pretty nice, for a closed headphone. Or a sony mdr z7m2, if you dare shopping second hand
Samesies. Also prefer the Ananda over a he6. Dont know what it is but the Ananda is almost perfect to my ears.
Nah. Most are fine once you get used to it, but most of the time your preference will be different than the stock tuning. Personally I like the hifiman tuning but ill still EQ
Ive had the ananda, but with no swivel the suspension strap didnt do much… The he1000v2 that my buddy had though… Very nice
Probably will be buying an arya soon (unless the mm100 releases soon)…
