My bro in law just started working for Samsung and I asked him the same question. He got a free Fold 5 from Samsung and I believe he sold it since he wanted to hold onto his iPhone. His gf has an iPhone so he’s in love. Once the honeymoon phase wears off I know he’ll come back to us lol. Anyway, thought it was cool Samsung didn’t force employees into their ecosystem.

Yeah I’ve sen a couple of these posts over the last few months. The color affects the repair which is nuts. I guess getting the boring colors everyone has has its advantages. Also, those people are idiots for not communicating with you. I’d at least write them a negative review AFTER you get your phone back.

DroiddoesyourmomOPBto Samsung@hardware.watch•Anyone considering the S24 or S24+ over the S24U?English1·2 years agoWhen I visited Seoul I went to a Samsung store and I held the S23 in my hand and it felt great! I don’t now if I could go to that small of a screen realistically bc I watch too many videos and I think texting would be more difficult.

This dude hates discussing phones, in a subreddit about phones 🤣
Where did you read that the AI services would be subscription based? That’s interesting and would really suck if true. I don’t care about titanium or steel or aluminum as long as they don’t jack up the price.

DroiddoesyourmomBto Samsung@hardware.watch•Black Friday Deal: Debating whether I should go for the S23+ or the S23 UltraEnglish1·2 years agoI am still sporting the S20+ and I agree. It’s a big screen phone but the curved edges and slightly smaller body make it so much easier to carry around. It feels like a smaller phone in the the pocket. Rumor is the S24U will be even wider than the S23U which definitely won’t make it more comfortable to hold.

That’s why I switched to more competitive games with no story. Games I can jump on and play for a bit then jump off. Like fighting games and simulators. Don’t worry! I feel your pain. I just can’t finish an rpg anymore!

DroiddoesyourmomBto Samsung@hardware.watch•I just switched to iOS from S20+ and already regretted it.English1·2 years agoI’m using an S20+ as well and this phone is still working so well. I’m upgrading to an S24U bc I’m kinda getting bored and can’t find a better reason to upgrade lol. Honestly this phone performs so well, I think we’ve reached a point where phones can last 4-5 years. Just curious, how’d your S20+ “die?”
DroiddoesyourmomBto Samsung@hardware.watch•I just switched to iOS from S20+ and already regretted it.English1·2 years agoExactly. I’m still using an S20+ and I think it has the highest screen resolution of any flagship released since 2020. This includes Samsung’s own models. I could be wrong but it’s a a great phone with a great screen.
Samsung bc in the US we only have Samsung and Pixel as major Android options. Samsung is way more reliable and not glitchy. I like OneUI a lot as well.
