What are you on about 😂 you’re in your own delusional land. I don’t even support Liverpool, I support a local team but just in the build up to a big game it just seemed off 😂 City can buy all the success they want my guy

Probably that even when he did go as part of the squad he wasn’t played so was a waste of time. His best chance to get in the squad was probably get up to speed with Liverpool then try and compete.
I’ve said in another comment that no player should do it out of respect for their own country. I can’t think of the time Liverpool players have done it but if they have it’s the same sentiment.
I think the issue that is missed when talking about City’s spend now is there is still benefit from previous high spend based on sold players. In seasons that there was 200/300 million spent, that player value was never “lost” might have dropped a bit but is still present.
By selling those players they don’t need anymore after the high level of investment it makes the net spend look alot more reasonable. E.g. last window 241m was spent but they sold 114m (€). Those sales involved players like Laporte who was bought at the peak of city spending.
I think there’s a difference between being a starter and important part of the team Vs a rotation player that’s never played. Gravenberch hasn’t made an appearance for Netherlands since 2021. There’s clearly something else there that isn’t just about fitness
