Remember in 2011 when PSN was hacked, and it was revealed that customers names, addresses, DOBs, usernames and passwords were stored unencrypted?
I remember. Sony will never get my credit card information.

This worked great! Thanks!

Just gaming on Linux Mint. Most big modern games work, but support for older and smaller games just isn’t there. I tried to play Doom 3. It wouldn’t start. Shadowrun Hong Kong was so slow it was unplayable.

I’ll never go back to windows. The only problem I had with Linux was mint didn’t like two monitors on hdmi and one on the other kind of cord. Once I figured that out, games ran no problem. I can live with only two monitors.

Same here. I’ve had no luck with proton. It’s gotten to the point where if it doesn’t run natively on Linux, I won’t buy it.

Great things, like… checks notes the Dow… checks notes going up? WHY ARE YOU ALL LAUGHING?
Bitch, we’re laughing at you going through your notebook like it’s a Choose Your Own Adventure.

I was a Windows user since 95, but I was increasingly feeling that my Windows PC was not my PC. That my personal information was being sent to some MS server. Then they started pushing recall and shoe horning in copilot. The sledgehammer that broke the camel’s back was when my perfectly good PC was deemed not good enough for an upgrade to Windows 11. I went Linux and am never going back.

I’ve been a Windows user since 95. I tried a few times to move to Linux, but basic user unfriendly problems always brought me back to Windows. Now there’s no option to go back. Linux Mint has had some bumps, but I’m properly motivated to jump over those hurdles now. I’ve become a proud Linux user this last week. Finally free of Microsoft’s gravity.
Apparently, half of homophobes are gay. The other half have actual phobias about gay people.
So watch out, homophobes. Half of your friends secretly want to suck your dick.

I just feel sorry for the Kirk family. They name their kid James, and he ends up a bigot.
That’s called a false awakening. I’ve had those, and they go lucid when I realize I wasn’t in my own bathroom. Maybe yours was of the entire day?
