  • Basically Frank is at the top (not saying anything amazing there) and everyone else is rounding the toilet bowl. Byron was probably the worst.

Since Dr. Buss died we lost a lot of our identity and leadership from a front office perspective. It’s shown in all the terrible coaching hires, head scratching roster decisions, nepotism, and a lack of a clear vision and identity.

Outside of landing LeBron we’re still the world’s most glorious mom and pop shop. I don’t even want to think about what happens when he’s gone and it’s back to being solely the Buss show.

  • I see what you’re saying, but I honestly learned from older fans giving me tough love. I wasn’t a softie who ran to a safe space when older/wiser ppl told me I was wrong or could do better. Forget being a sports fan - it made me a better person.

I’m a millennial too, and I’m sorry but the generation that’s following us is extremely reactionary and soft.

I’m not old enough to be “old man yelling at the clouds.” I’m trying to drive a point home that you don’t just quit on things immediately when they don’t work right away.

Whether it’s on the sub or on YouTube post game shows all the kiddos just want to quit, run, throw things away, trade everybody, etc. Whiners don’t make it far in life.

TLDR peeps - Gotta develop a thicker skin and hang with things when times get tough. You’ll be better for doing so.

Shit on the Lakers? You mean have the balls to criticize the front office for missteps they’ve made since LeBron got here? Tons of us diehard LAKER fans have “shit” as you eloquently put it, on the Lakers as well. No team/player is exempt from criticism. I bet you’re a big “loyalty” goof who thinks criticism = betraying your team. If anything, the LeBron fans have taken it easy on the organization. Lifers like me went hard on Rob/Jeanie when times were tough because we care so much. That too hard to understand?

“You included” - You either didn’t exist or were in diapers when I went to my first game at Staples. Stay in your lane junior.

If it weren’t for LeBron we’d be in the same spin cycle of hell we were in from 2013-2018. If you were a REAL Lakers fan you’d appreciate the guy, but your love for someone else is blinding you from that because you’re weak minded.
