At the local bookstore yesterday, the girl burst over all excited to show me her new tabletop magazine. Only after I got home did my knowledge of my autistic friends and my own divergence set in and realize she might be into me.

That, or she was really excited about her mag and didn’t care who came in the door, they were getting assaulted about the new Pathfinder module 😛

But if they compromise with leftists instead of telling them to suck an egg, they won’t have a scapegoat anymore to blame all their losses and woes on!

Sure, they might just win instead, but that’s like at best third on their list of priorities behind corporate donors and the status quo.

  • Finding happiness within yourself by realizing your ideal sense of self goes against everything conservatives believe. They think life is about hatred, and winning at all costs.

You can’t just be happy and content with who you are, you have to chase happiness at the end of a crucifix, gun, and credit card. Pick your poison so long as you’re spending and supporting division. Anything else would collapse their true religion of capitalism.

  • That sucks. I don’t have an extensive collection but I occasionally try to pick up physical media where I can. Where I get my haircut has a small record store with a dollar CD rack I forage when I’m there lol. Their regular cds are only $4-5 but I’ll impulse buy some bs for a buck 😂

  • Probably, but while I can’t say it hasn’t happened it’s certainly not common. I don’t have a count but I know I have a handful of stuff that were pulled years ago. Alot of it is tedious rights crap with music and the like which makes them ineligible for sale.

I imagine in the case of steam, there’s not much reason to give a crap. They’re not paying to store the files. Plus, while we all have known the days of “purchased” content being stripped were coming, who wants to be the company to really pop that lid?

Now that a few companies have broached the policy maybe we’ll see more of it in the gaming space, but idk letting steam hold onto a copy of game files is also less of an “investment” than storing something locally and streaming it.
