Happy cake day
Good news, thanks
I have none of that fancy pro stuff, but I went searching for it and mics or other basic stuff should work no problems, my gaming headsets work better on Linux without drivers then windows, but the digital display stuff with software most likely won’t work.
I believe using only one PC is much more convenient because you can just click a button and start. Either wine or virtualization would work the best, also a 15~20 old crt monitor would make the experience much more true to what was back in the 90s early 2000s. VMware acceleration would be faster then old components from that era, and that way you don’t need swap from the main PC to the second PC and back
Yeah keep dreaming. What you should do is create a windows vm and passthrough the mouse, install the software and change profiles there, save on the mouse.
Wayland just takes some of the config out and when it works it works really well. Once you try you see the potential and that is why the push exists. Months ago I didn’t care that much but saw the potential, with the input delay fixed I really like it.
