Thanks so much. I am going to do a set of test prints on the calibrated monitor. I made a virtual copy of some images and I will do a pre and post calibrated test to see how they look.
If they come out still to dark, I will try that 160 setting as your suggested.

Maybe it makes sense to do the first round of edits on the uncalibrated profile to make sure it looks good on a screen and then only calibrate when I go to print? I guess Virtual copies make this easy to do
