Brunson IS the best player, he’s also the closer. He’s the guy we get the ball to first every possession down the stretch.

He’s also imperfect and has warts, much like Jules. Brunson is not a great floor general. He doesnt create many open shots for teammates. He’s not a great defensive player. He’s some things really well and I love that we have him. We are lucky we got him because he’s a finisher and that might be the hardest part to find.

I think we can build a team around Brunson’s scoring much like Celtics did briefly with Isiaiaiah Thomas. He’s THAT good. We will need to surround him with size, defensive help, another ball handler and shooters. So far its a work in progress but everyone is adjusting and pretty well IMO.

Randle’s gross shooting was clearly a post surgery rhythm issue and he’s looking better.

This is a good team. Lots of depth and hustle. Shooting remains sketchy. If we make baskets we are elite. If we are league average we are a 50 win team

the problem with the anti-Randle traffic is it’s usually really bad basketball takes. So you get the dumbest fans rattling the loudest cans and it takes away from the sub.

The false narratives are the worst. Literally by the end of year 1 w/ Brunson Randle was deferring in crunch time. His game is not perfect. He’s got warts but he shares the ball and does a lot of things out there that help us win.

Randle has also become a 2 time all star under Thibs WHILE the team has significantly raised the win total.

simple answer… people who make these posts dont understand the game or really follow the team. The dont understand the concept of patience, chemistry, team building… its annoying but you gotta tune this crap out.

Have fun OP… gonna be a long season. Randle and his team friendly deal arent going anywhere.

50ish wins. Well coached deep team. Can defend, score and protect the rim. Can play physical. Not a team with a lot of length but we have good rim protection, RJ/Randle are wrecking balls and we have a bunch of good 2 ways guards. We also have a finisher.

Im looking forward to everything about this season and will this coaching staff continue to elevate players. Can IQ/Grimes/RJ take a steps? Can Randle/Brunson improve on career years?

We prolly dont have a top 20 player, but I think we have 2 in the top 30.

Knicks have an identity and I expect them to play well and play well early.
