I do a backup and full factory reset once every major OS version releases, but only then.
I have never had any issues, bugs nor anything similar that’s widely reported when new versions of iOS are released, and I believe that’s because upgrading always leave remnants of lingering trash. But that’s me.
Synch with a cable, let it finish, check the option to synch over wifi, save it, enjoy.
I find really funny that this conversation exists around the phone universally thought to be overpriced, made by a pretentious company, and regarded as inferior and behind the competition in innovation because it’s seen as a fashion item instead of a phone.
I would say that, like owning an iPhone, buying Casetify is reduced to: people like it and can afford it. That’s pretty much it.
I do believe they are super overpriced tho, not defending them. But reading all the condescending comments has been truly amusing, haha.
This is a major system update, it needs recalibration again. Give it a few days and battery will improve, even more so than it was on Android 13.
Happened to me for 3 days after upgrading and now battery life is even better than my 14 Pro Max.
Can’t blame you, Android is great for everything but normal phone use lmao. Once you start using the apps and notice the unoptimized trash they are, you surely miss the boredom of iOS, lack of split screen and trash tier notifications and all.
There’s a super useful app on iOS called “When did I…?” (exclusive to iOS btw) in where you can keep track of how often you do stuff. Might sound super stupid but it’s extremely useful for me to track things like dentist visits, haircuts, car wash, etc.
You can even set it to remind you when X amount of time went by since the last time you did X.
I get exactly the same “1 day with AOD On and 2 days with AOD off” with both my Apple Watch and my GW6.
Dunno what kinda kool-aid they gave you to drink but there’s no way in hell an Apple Watch or a Galaxy Watch last more than 4 days. Not even the AW Ultra nor GW5 Pro. Unless you waste hundreds of dollars to use them in “watch only mode” that is basically the same functionality of a $15 watch.
To be completely honest, there’s barely any difference ever since the X. Incremental upgrades will get you a better camera, but the XR had such a great battery life and remains super snappy, so if you aren’t really a camera guy there won’t be a lot new besides ProMotion and Dynamic Island.
