But my actual grail is the AP Code 11.59 Starwheel. Which I will never be able to afford.

What is that Phoibos model? It appears to be discontinued, and I kinda want one now.

I was browsing r/watchexchange (as you do) and came across a giveaway for this Raymond Weil Freelancer Piper. I had to list what got me into watches (my mom, which is a story I’ve told before) and what charity I would want $100 donated to. Li and behold, I was the winner! I chose RAINN as the charity (check the giveaway comment in my history for that explanation) and sent in my shipping info.

My thoughts? I love this watch. It’s my first mechanical watch, and my first luxury watch, AND it has an amazing story behind it. This is going to stay in my collection permanently.
