Thank kind sir, this makes feel that much better about the whole situation.

Really? Almost every play-off team has a key player that has struggled with injuries.
Because when healthy he is the best player on the planet that’s why.
Yes, so the question is can we afford to both pay and rest him? If yes, I think we can win in the playoffs without him having to average 35+min per game risking injury.
It is a pipe dream of mine, and of course the Spurs and every other team in this league is monitoring the Kawhi situation.
If the clippers don’t win this year, they don’t have many options on improving this roster and paying Kawhi, Paul George and James Harden.
Spurs and OKC are the two teams that can pay him and have the talent needed to complete for many years to come.
I would love Derrick! Problem is he is a fan favorite in Boston, and he is really good. But it kinda makes sense to trade him with the addition of Drew and the emergence of Payton Prichard who needs more minutes they should be able to be OK basketball wise and moving him helps avoid paying taxes. So fingers crossed.
I am in the minority here, but YES absolutely! I wanted CP3 this off season, the only question is does CP3 want to come here and mentor a young team? I think he probably wants to content for a ring.
Good one, sometimes I wonder how young Pop would react to this situation.
That might be it true.
To those of you doubting this experiment, please go and see DJs stats in years 1, and 3, very similar to Sochan DJ rebounds more Sochan has a better AST to TO ratio and he is better at attacking the rim.
I can see him having a similar path to Dejounte, but it’s not going to happen in year 2, so we all need to be patient.
KOC has an article about it and makes some really good points. I am not as eloquent as him, but from my understanding they want Sochan to develop as a secondary playmaker and they view him as player than can do multiple things on the court like a DG or a Boris Diaw.
So they put him in those situations with the ball on his hands and force him make those mistakes right now and learn from them so he is ready for that role in the future.
Similar with Wemby, we know he is good near the basket but instead of having him play at his strengths all the time they want him to develop the midrange and his 3 point shots.
It’s only December, this team can still go on a run if Wemby and Sochan improve, and get to the play in. I don’t think Pop is tanking, but rather putting his main two players in situations that allows them to grow.
