I’m extremely happy AOC is our QB and he’s done very well considering the situation he’s been thrown into. That being said imo to be successful in todays NFL we need a semi-mobile QB, at least someone who can use their legs to rotate out of the pocket and buy time or advance the stix when need it.

Yesterday Aiden had 3 to 5 chances where he could’ve just ran for the first down but instead, and no fault to him, he stayed in the pocket. Our offensive line doesn’t allow for that currently so drives stall out. We need to either get him a lot more protection in the off-season or we need a quarterback that can move around and make plays.

I grew up in the Bay Area, born in Alameda. Worked in SF for over a decade listening to all the 49er fans. I think it’s just a location rivalry. SF has always been jealous of the East Bay so they can’t help themselves lol.
