3 is literally the worst option if we are talking about full on staff retention. Getsy is just dogshit, we would be better off with no OC, no play caller. If we are keeping Flus and just trashing the rest, it’s still a bad option.

Imagine if we threw the ball forward more.

Is a QB?English1·2 years agoIf we end up going with QB I’d rather Maye, which I’ll get downvoted for saying, but I’m also not completely sold on moving on from fields, something that will also get me downvoted.

GleasonryanBtoChicago Bears@nfl.community•The last time the Bears had consistent QB play was Cutler and that should tell you something.English1·2 years agoIf Staley is out and they want a full reset, stranger things have happened. Considering Chargers are my AFC team I’d be all in on trading Justins if it were an option.

The Commies have fired their DC and DB coach after that blowout. Almost like poor performance actually has consequences outside of Chicago
GleasonryanBtoChicago Bears@nfl.community•Sincere question: are there examples of when firing a staff, of a bottom-tier team, mid-season helped accelerate a turn-around?English1·2 years agoI don’t think they should be fired mid season because I think we will make a run to the playoffs I want them fired midseason because they are terrible at their job and if I was as bad my my job as they were I wouldn’t get another 2 months.
Its funny how broken this sub is that people cant see a joke when it put directly into their face
Trade down to 3, get MHJ and like Penix or Big Bo with our pick.
We’ve kept worse coaches for longer. I don’t think it’s even close to being favored one way or another currently
GleasonryanBtoChicago Bears@nfl.community•Bears get to 7 wins, your opinion on running this back another year is...English1·2 years agoI don’t think there is a scenario where poles gets fired regardless of how we do the rest of the season. I also think the likelihood of Flus going is also low. Fields and the rest of the staff I’m less sure on. If they keep fields I think Getsy is still here too since giving him a 3rd OC wouldn’t be good for anyone, but if fields ends up going I can see a new OC being brought in regardless of Flus’s status.
GleasonryanBtoChicago Bears@nfl.community•I think there's a real chance Eberflus isn't fired this year and I could see it being a good decision.English1·2 years agoJohn Fox got a 3rd year, I think there is quite a good chance that Flus also gets a 3rd year.
I’m surprised no one has suggested hiring Dorsey yet.
