doubtful….demand has consistent which means folks do want for toes making a below retail drop point unlikely … the thing that would throw that off is if the production run is wildly putsized (like with the reimagined royals and satins) - but since Nike would have to share profits on the collab it tends not to do a large production run on collabs like say an 11 or 1.
makes me think Staples (pigeons) … these aren’t going to be as comfortable as boost (better tech comfort wise).
the pattern of the creams show up under black light (not GITD) - many pairs have UV treatment (my zebras have a pattern that shows up as well).
it’s a no for me dawg😬😂
so many great retro+ colorways …. I always keep multiple pairs of Celtics (2009) on hand and I always have a soft spot for Vegas 1s (2012). Easily SBBs gave me my greatest ‘sneaker fever’ the softness of the leather doesn’t ‘age’ as well it makes a near fav.
I haven’t bought that many pairs for myself - I buy nieces/nephews bday pairs and back to school pairs (so about a dozen typically)…. I collect 1s and with the subtle changes to the silhouette from the remastered period I find myself less engaged🤷🏽♀️ - I picked up only the uni-toes and yellowtoes probably in the last 12 month cycle. I currently have maybe 3 pairs still DS (sesame Yeezys, CO.JP 1s, and red mettalic 1s) so have I’m good for now. Which is a big shift given I was averaging 1 pair a week for years.
You are all special in my eyes 😁
like the undftds a little bit more - the pop of color on that pair gives a warmth to the olive.
Yeah …. that is (arguably) understandable given these never released and there was only a handful sold pre-release cancellation in Mx. since there wasn’t a flood of new stock or found stock to dilute the hyper-valuation of that sale it’s odd there’s a pair was selling for 1.6K.
Nike are expensive sadly - Air Force 1s used to be the go to inexpensive kicks but even those have creeped up in price. if you live near a Nike outlet I would suggest picking something up there …. Nike courts tend to be sub-100 and of course non-Nike brands like Puma, adidas, ASICS have great looking sneakers at a more affordable price point.- and sometimes you can find them on sale at popular sneaker stores.
yeah …. I actually know someone who bought a pair (from a UNC team member) for substantially more…. and yes they are gorgeous (and know he doesn’t wear them)
