I can’t believe I’m feeling sorry for Brooks. He’s a jerkoff but he got done dirty here.

I just realized how much of a dork he is. He could’ve worded a lot of this better and come off well and addressed the point, and he’s not exactly a rookie either. He should know better.
Looks insecure at the end there. How far back is his head gonna uncomfortably turn?
The beard is blocking his view when looking down
Bench him for 20 games. That will make the clown start playing for real.

Brief glimpse of her walking down the street. Looks worse in the actual episode since it was such a long walk.
I know it’s just a walking scene but they didn’t even bother animated a subtle head bounce. Reminds me of those NewGrounds animations made by some 14-year-old on his 2006 computer.
We also guessed wrongly. Because S1 was a risk, we excused the plain and cheap animation. But we all assumed “Okay, now S1 was a smash success. S2 will surely look much better with a bigger budget. A franchise is officially born”. Turns out that wasn’t the case. S2 often looks cheaper than S1!
I just feel like the shots and characters drag and there a weird gaps between sentences.
For the amount they’re spending (reportedly) it also feels very rushed. I’m not quite seeing “$10 million bucks” up on the screen in every episode.
There’s a shot of Debbie walking and it was sooo cheap. They only moved her legs and right arm. Every part of her body was still, as if they were rushing this shot and trying to save money. Seems a step back from S1.
First one can crush you like a pancake.
Second one will ask you where are the pancakes.
I didn’t know Firesticks would even have this info lol.
Now imagine an entire species who don’t have the same feelings of Nolan and what they could do.
Although one could argue they are conquerors and getting complacent, arrogant and lazy (like the Empire in Star Wars).
Mark actually turned the tables in the Thula fight right after they showed the close up of the dead Thraxans, who were alive 30 minutes ago. That PISSED Mark off to see innocents, once again, suffer for no reason and reminded him of Earth.
So not having read the comics, I think it’s possible they are going with the angle that Mark has less experience, but is fueled by more emotion and that almost brings him up to a Viltrumite’s level. It’s like if Superman was truly in rage mode, it’s the scariest thing ever - he could split a planet in half.
Viltrumites have power and experience, but are cold and distant compared to humans and other species. Could be one part of the Viltrumite weakness.
Very few will get this reference, but I see you
Did she…act out the tongue noise?
Vince Gilligan’s new show has her as the main star. I hope it takes off and that she also gets more movie roles too.
Survey Says = broken back!
I still had fun but I find S2 (at least these four episodes) weaker than the first four episodes of S1.
S1 Invincible is one of the greatest things I’ve seen because it actually created a villain that scared me shitless for once, and made me think any character I liked could die in any episode.
While I still like S2, I do feel the power scaling and inconsistencies and fighting decisions make less sense than S1. Also feels more rushed.
And I bet Thula the old dagger woman is also still alive.
Nolan told Mark to go into KILL MODE, but apparently Nolan plays with his own food and doesn’t finish the job! Now two Viltrumite soldiers are still alive and will come back angrier.
Tbh I don’t even understand what they’re doing with the Rex scenes. Every time we go back I realize it’s not really advancing the plot or going deeper into his character. He still does the same things in S1.
And yes, the Amber scenes, while I don’t hate the character, aren’t exactly that enthralling either.
I feel like this is the least of AD’s concerns now. Lack of threes never hurt many great Centers.
