Yeah exactly. The Drive Sync hasn’t been too bad but OneDrive app is much more limited and I’m afraid to use it because it’s so flaky. Especially on non-Windows.

Awesome. I wonder if I can incorporate OneDrive easily. I’m on a family plan and have 1 TB of storage. Maybe there’s a way to upload stuff to OneDrive without the garbage of OneDrive.
Oh, is it like a Dropbox but without a cloud?
Well, I guess we’re a little past the year mark but I really like Lemmy and Jerboa lol.
You’ve marked your account as a bot but you appear to be a human. You should fix this in settings because some people filter out bot content.
There was another tweet from before this one about “When the farmers market has a deal on bulk garlic” which leads me to believe he was getting a discount before and feels slighted at the removal. But who really knows? Either way I followed and am looking forward to an update.
Public modlogs help us fight against it, though.
One time I had a brain fart when I was reading about the United the Right rally and was confused why “national socialists” were there lol. Aren’t socialists left? Then I was like “…oh. literal Nazis.”
If it’s protecting capitalism, wouldn’t you mean when the wealth gap is too small? As in it is a driving force of the wealth gap?
Capitalism sucks for the same reason Communism sucks […] There needs to be balance and Communism is not it.
And Capitalism is? Aight.
That’s how swatting works though. They don’t just call 911 and say “send police to this place” lol.
Robbing tenants of potential equity is not a service.
Many people work from home and don’t have very many Internet providers in their area. In a post COVID world, many people are never getting a job in an office. They can’t risk losing their job over losing Internet access over piracy.
Hey hey hey, put some respect on Java, we don’t need certificates to compile our shit.
I’m just using Gmail lol. I don’t really do anything with email.
I never got around to using WSL for dev stuff, sadly. I was stuck on Windows 7 until December 2019 and have had a Mac for work ever since. For personal stuff I just use the MSYS environment included in Git for windows (it has bash and a few other things). If I ever got a Windows laptop for work again I’d probably put the time in to learn WSL.
These are three super different things that fill entirely different uses. It’s like asking if you should use a car, a boat, or an airplane. If you just wanna mess around then probably VirtualBox unless you only want terminal stuff to mess around, then you’d want WSL.
There’s a reasonable version of IP laws we could have. Imagine if copyright lasted five years. Thats plenty of time to try and turn a profit. Would a fan made sequel to 2019’s Pokémon: Detective Pikachu really detract money from the creators of the original at this point? If there was a fan made sequel today and also an “official” sequel, would the fan sequel stop people from seeing the official one? No. It just gives people more freedom to actually vote with their dollar on the better made one. The laws we have today around IP are just corporations being greedy and paranoid that they wouldn’t actually be able to compete with “unofficial” sequels and reboots. It’s cowardice.
This is probably my biggest complaint about trying to learn Python past the beginner level and into intermediate and beyond. This is also one of my strongest arguments in favor of static type systems over dynamic ones.
