If you have a PC I would suggest using USBhelper instead. All the games I downloaded from that works on steam deck but a few I downloaded from Wii U downloader would crash when starting them in game mode.

I haven’t noticed that on mine.
This might seems stupid but when you said “delete and redownload” did you try and download the game from a different source? Because the tonight be corrupted from wherever you downloaded it from.
LE Oled - 04 -BOE no dead pixels or issues.
I’m pretty sure it stops charging once it reaches 100%.
Yeah loading times would be better running from the SSD than a micro SD. Since the person you are buying it for is tech savvy they can buy a 1tb SSD or more and just replace the 64gb SSD when they want to in the future. 256gb is good for someone who isn’t really going to replace the SSD because it’s a decent size and you can always use a SD if you want download more games.
I got a dock that attaches to the back of my steam deck. It has 2 usb, 1 hdmi, a sd slot and a usbc for charging the deck. I keep it on 24/7 connected to my steam deck. It even comes with a kickstand and it was like $35 on amazon if I remember correctly. Never had an issue with it.
The 250gb lcd is only $50 more. But if the person you are buying this for is somewhat tech savvy they can replace the ssd later on and I would get the 64gb and add a sd card as a gift.
From what I’ve read about shaders is that they are stored on the ssd by default. So it should redownload all the shaders when you insert your sd in your new steam deck.
Support probably going to respond like 12 hours later. Made a ticket around 11 am because my LE oled purchase was pending and they just got back to me. Purchase went through at 6:30 pm.
I use decoy recorder. It will save the last 30 seconds. Or you can set it to record the next 30-5 mins.
