Would you approach someone in a recurring league with the same group of people, who seems like they are intentionally losing the first or even the second week in order to make sure they have the number one priority for the next week’s waiver league winners?

So one of my thoughts with Amari Cooper is:
if I’m not using Amari Cooper in any of my three playoff games, is it worth picking up anybody else?
Like the handcuff for ETN or something?
Or is it worth hanging on to amari just in case the browns figure out their offense without Watson? Which doesn’t seem likely
I am in playoffs, and so I’m transitioning to making sure I have my lineups set for the final 3 weeks. Any advice is appreciated

We’re getting to the point of the year where you’re either going to make the playoffs or not, and so value for teams is basically whether they will produce in the playoffs. So unless JT’s bye is in the playoffs, byes don’t come into effector
