  • Ah, what a frustrating game. DG was quite bad, tons of stubborn unforced turnovers. He not only isn’t playing up to speed, he isn’t reading the game with the right pace. Of course, he just came back from an injury so I’m not gonna be too harsh on him, we know what he’s capable of.

I wish I saw them coming out of the gate as the team that played the Warriors, which to me was the perfect example of what the Cavs can do, but they didn’t.

Don was also off this game, and I have to credit the terrific OKC defense. I posted last night about his rim numbers this year, and although he was still good there, he got blocked a number of times due to the length of their defenders. The three wasn’t hitting either, so there’s really not much else to do. You could see it when he tried several snatch backs like he always does and the defenders wouldn’t budge. But that’s fine, a mid game happens.

I don’t wanna comment on everything cause I don’t have the capability, but yeah I feel like this OKC team is just as bad of a matchup as the Knicks for us. They have size, effort, and defense superiors to us.

Onto the next one, Go Ca=s

  • That’s a pretty bad take in my opinion. An iso chucker?

He’s been an absolute beast since he got to Cleveland, and even though one of his main strengths is iso scoring, he does play with the flow of the offense, when it works. For example, take a look at the last game against the Warriors.

When he does take more iso shots it’s mostly because he has to carry a load of the offense that just isn’t hitting their shots that night.

This season he has done so though incredible efficiency at the rim, prior to tonight. He was scoring 13ppg with 80% fg at the rim.

Is he holding players back? Possibly, just like most 1st options on any team
