We feel for you Hopefully Dame has a great game if that would ease the pain of a loss
Any contract is a gamble.
The player gives up some chance that he could’ve made a lot more by signing shorter contracts in order to get financial protection against injury.
Khris was injured on the job in the 2022 playoffs. Bad for the Bucks and for Khris, but his contract was protected.
Khris was great in the 2023 playoffs. Not his fault Miami did well and Giannis was injured part of the time.
If Khris plays like Khris in the 2024 playoffs he will much more than earn his paycheck. If not, well, that’s the point of him signing a longer contract
The “bad” teams the Bucks barely beat maybe aren’t so bad.
The Wizards whomped the Pistons in Detroit.
The presumably exhausted Blazers beat the Pacers in Indianapolis. The Pacers are actually a good team.
So the Bucks scraping out victories against the Wizards and Blazers doesn’t look so bad in hindsight.
A win is a win and every NBA team has some very talented players
