I get that, but that why i followed with that id personally still want jamal with his 2000+ yard season. Thats unseen by a rb in todays game like that. We now have keaton mitchell who is a pretty good receiving threat when given the opportunity so it seems. Our issue clearly is burning down the clock effectively hence why we lose in the fourth after having leads. Jamal would fix that better than holmes.

Priest wasnt as good on the ravens as he was with the chiefs though. Even then jamal had more yardage and was just a more effective power back in my opinion. He even had similar yardage per catch, but they just ran it more than passed it and it worked so why not run it. With the current raven roster, we have speed and pass catching ability, adding the power running would make the team more complete

Besides Ogden like everyone seems to agree with, id say Jamal Lewis would be the next big gap. Not trying to shit on our RB crew but man Jamal was feared in those days. His 2000 yard rushing year he had 5.5 yards after contact… the man could not be contained. And could lay down some huge blocks against the linebackers even of those days. And for a power back, he was shifty too.

Even when its our safety its Hamilton flying in like a missle and laying down a big hit himself. WRs have to be scared to run and routes over the middle against the ravens
