Just saw a comment on this subreddit from a 49ers fan saying that beating them is a “Curse” on the QB 1 of the opposing teams, and used Browns, Bengals, and Vikings as examples.
You can’t make this stuff up.

That’s the difference between the two fanbases.
Beating KC was nice because we showed we could finally beat Andy Reid, Mahomes, and do it at their own ball park.
But we also knew it was nothing more than a regular season game in the end. KC still has just as much a shot to still get the First round bye like the Eagles do.
For the 49ers fans, it feels like they’re way more focused on a revenge game against us than actually going all the way. That this game decides the SB team from the NFC, which isn’t the case at all.
To them this will be a SB type of win because of how long they’ve yearned for this while Eagles are more focused on securing the bye despite the potential of some setbacks.
Both fanbases do have one thing in common
They somehow think bringing up the 5 rings their respective franchises have after not winning a SB in over 25 years means anything.
“How many rings do the Eagles have?” Oooh what an original statement! /S
Imagine being so irrelevant in modern times you have to dig towards the past where you were either younger or weren’t even born yet when the team flourished.
Couldn’t be Eagles fans that’s for sure.
Eagles last week: Want to see us come back from a 10pt deficit after Halftime?
Eagles this week: Want to see us do it again?
That feeling when the top 2 teams in the NFL are Bird teams.
NFC: Eagles
AFC: Ravens
Man what a SB that would be.
See to Bills fans it was hope for them to win it
For BG it was just a delay of the inevitable.
I can already sense the penalty excuses if the Eagles win tonight.
They’re going to treat the game next week like the Eagles treated the game with KC last week.
Regardless of tonight’s outcome, you just know from now until next week it’ll be hell with the promotion for this match and fanbases clashing.
Alrighty seen all I could tonight for Football.
Glad Lions lost at least but Cowboys still don’t worry me at least and 49ers look beatable but Seahawks’ incompetence made them look stronger than what they are.
Eagles can beat both teams but it will be a fight. One game at a time though.
Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!
Hawks a 2nd half team?
If their offense does something this drive then perhaps they aren’t as bad and have a shot.
Unless this is just them playing hard against a divisonal rival.
The way he was throwing the last few plays I had a feeling one would go back the other way.
Felt way too risky by Purdy.
So let me get this straight
Eagles beat KC but people want to say it’s more of KC’s dropped passes costing them rather than Eagles’ overall adjustments coming out of the 2nd half when they were trailing.
Cowboys beat Washington but no one will bring up how many times Washington turned the ball over or made so many dumb mistakes throughout the game?
Same for 49ers and Seahawks because right now I’m seeing Seattle imploding giving the 49ers easy yardage for points that any team can or should be able to take advantage of.
But Cowboys and 49ers will be praised to the moon and back despite those factors while Eagles are left in doubt?
I’m just saying what I’m seeing right now.
Exactly!
That’s something people fail to bring up.
Of course they’ll look dominate when the opposing side forgets how to play Football properly.
Just piss poor decision making giving the opposing side an easy advantage when they get the ball.
Goodness these teams just fall apart and don’t even stop.
Amazing what happens to Brock when he’s actually pressured from a solid defense and gets sacked.
Almost like something that impacted their 3 losses this season.
The fanbase wouldn’t even call us CF bound if we we’re whooping bad teams like the Cowboys.
I know I wouldn’t at least.
Rather have the Eagles be resilient and fight to win then be called frauds for beating bad teams but losing to actual good teams.
I just can’t take the Cowboys seriously at all when they can only whoop bad teams but suffer against actual good teams. That’s always been there theme.
They could drop 70 like Miami did against any bad team and I still wouldn’t see them as a threat to top teams because of how bad they are against actual strong teams.
I don’t see them beating the 49ers or Eagles in the Playoffs that’s for sure.
Man I’m glad I only closely follow Football and not other sports.
Can’t imagine declaring a 10-4 NBA team tied for 2nd in their own conference a non playoff team because of a close loss in an 82 game season.
Must be one hell of a headache to put yourself through a year.
At least the NFL is only 17 but to say “Season’s over” after only 14 games when you’re 10-4 as a whole so far? Doesn’t make sense.

The loss sucks but a few losses during this gauntlet run was expected, at least from me.
But the upside is that the Eagles are still in the one seed, season is far from over, and we still control our own destiny.
A part of me feared the possibly of beating the 49ers twice on the same year and then losing in a potential playoff rematch to them.
Similar to the 2007 Patriots SB run where they beat the Giants in the regular season and then lost to that same team in the SB where it mattered the most.
But it’s important to note the season is not over, Eagles are still on top, and the 49ers won the most pivotal game of the season. Now hoping the Eagles learn from this loss after only suffering 2 this season.
For those who have faith, I’ll see you next week against Dallas and advise you to stay off of NFL social media. Saves you a lot of headache and keeps your mental health in check.
On to Dallas!
