Wow! You returned the PS Portal? I’d think that it would be a superior experience for Playstation games I was very close to getting it. I’m protesting because Sony decided to exclude bluetooth to be able to sell their new audio product. For $150 more I’d be able to have a mobile gaming PC. That’s great to hear that Chiaki4deck is very comparable in experience

Hey I’m in the same boat. What did you decide? The lack of Bluetooth on the portal feels like a deal breaker to me and now highly considering the steamdeck, despite the lack of dual sense features and more setting adjustment headaches

It is essentially purely a track attack car. It is not good for drag racing. It has to perform at high RPM’s for long periods with a lot of turns, like a track. Also daily drivable with it being a hatchback. I get it

If games kept up with inflation and cost $140 today, they would probably include this feature. Instead, developers are barely able to make decent quality games

I would say that I prefer to pay full price for a game only because it incentivizes developers to make complete and good games at launch. Of course I look into many reviews to make sure a game is well made. If every game was bought at discount we would have a very different availability of quality games

I’m debating between Steam Deck OLED vs the Playstation Portal so I’d love some suggestions lol

I’d use Chiaki PS5 remote play 90% of the time on Steam Deck so I’m thinking maybe the PlayStation Portal… but it has no Bluetooth! So if I get the Playstation Explore ear buds, that would bring the whole product to $400! So may as well get the Steam Deck?

I’d hope that it would have the capability to natively play modern games with improved performance

I mean, I respect American sports cars. They aren’t for me, but I think they’re amazing. But I also think that just because it’s American that doesn’t mean it has to be cheaper. Maybe this is controversial but I don’t think it’s over priced. That said, I’d choose the M2 every time as I prefer the ethos of import sports cars
