Spurs are conceding a ridiculous amount of XG, they are just lucky to get good results, their football is unsustainable and not as elite as people make them out to be.

City outplayed Spurs in every metric and still managed to draw. Truly, Spurs are their bogey team.

Success in tournament competition requires a lot of luck. The number of matches we have to play to get to the trophy is relatively small, but so is the chance to make up for one mistake. I really don’t know why people ask for difficult opponents. Real Madrid, Bayern or City are the ones we’re going to play anyway if we go deep in the competition.

I didn’t even realise that some teams had Europa games today, and I’m so glad we don’t have to play that shit.

One of my favourite records that doesn’t get talked about enough is the number of yellow cards Arsenal have received. Arsenal are the club with the fewest yellow cards in the league (17). For comparison, Chelsea received the most yellow cards with 44, then Spurs received 34 and City received 23. It has a lot to do with how much we control the game and how calm and mature our players are. But you know what, the Athletic chose a photo of Arsenal players for an article about discipline. 😂

What exactly do you think Arteta should have done?

I hadn’t even thought about this until recently because I thought it was so minor, but I don’t think the goalkeeper issue is as much of a problem for us as the media and some fans make it out to be. Forget what Arteta said at the press conference. Look at who he picks to start the game. Raya is our number one and that’s a fact that’s so clear, there’s no confusion, there’s no misunderstanding. And you can look at our defensive record. I don’t see a big problem with that.

Not many players can resist the seduction of Arteta.

Looking at the XGA graph for the second half of the 22-23 season, Arteta definitely focused on this earlier this season and I think he was right. We have a good foundation to build on here.

That’s what I really don’t understand, they have every right to be arrogant. Maybe they’re genuinely threatened by Arsenal, lol.
